15/30 CHALLENGE

It has been way too long since a solid update. BUT, if you were at Emerge last week then you had a chance to participate in the 15/30 CHALLENGE. Of course the winners will get an empty promise (insider joke) if they complete the challenge. The 15/30 is a challenge to spend 15 minutes for 30 days in some sort of quiet time with God. Whether that be praying, reading the Bible, sitting quietly thinking about how God is working in your life, etc.

Let me be the first to say that it has not been easy to remember everyday to complete my 15 minutes. Although, God has already used this time for me to experience Him in awesome ways. I hope ALL students will take the challenge and see how God moves.

ON another note, Corey and I will be in Lexington this weekend to visit family. That means K-FURG will be leading Emerge. So everyone come on out and show some love.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND!

This labor day weekend, Emerge will not be meeting. ALL students head over to the main service. We will be back in full force next week. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

EMERGE TO KINGS ISLAND!

Emerge is heading to Kings Island on Saturday August 28th. We will be meeting at the church at 8:00am. Cost will be $35 a person. That will cover your ticket, help w/ gas, and money for your food. PLEASE bring extra cash if you want more to eat/drink. I am only guessing the minimum. We will have everyone back to be picked up at the church by 11:30pm. CANT WAIT! See yall then.

Date- Saturday August 28th
Time- Meet @ church at 8:00am. We will be back at church for pick up @ 11:30pm
Cost- $35 per person. Covers your $20 ticket, $ 5 help w/ gas, and 2 $5 meals. Bring extra cash if you want more food/drink.

Emerge at Louisville Bats Game

HEY! If you are going to the Bats game with us the evening, we are meeting at the statue outside of the stadium at 5:45pm. If you are late you wont have a ticket. If you come to the game and didn't tell me you are coming, you wont have a ticket either. Game starts at 6:05pm but I have no idea what time it will end. Your ticket is free but bring extra money if you want something to eat. Yall are awesome and I will see everyone tonight.

BATS GAME!

Hey everyone, I have 8 free box tickets left for the BATS game this Sunday @ 6:05pm. First 8 students that see me and tell me they want to go can have a ticket. You don't want to miss out.

Movie Night/Possible Pool Party

Movie Night at the McReynolds THIS Friday. If the rains holds off we can swim and project the movie outside. IF it rains then we will watch the movie inside. Here are some things to know:

1. TIME- This Friday June 25th from 6:30pm- 9pm
1. EAT dinner before you come (We will provide snacks and drinks)
2. BRING a lawn chair if we end up watching the movie outside
3. BRING a swimsuit if you plan on swimming
4. BRING a friend
